    How to play Hex Clash

    Hex Clash is a turn-based battle on a hex grid, in the spirit of the classic fantasy strategy fights. Each army is five stacks of creatures, from spearmen and archers to ogres and a dragon; stacks act in order of speed, strike back once per round, and lose whole creatures as they take damage. No campaign, no map: just the battle.

    Goal

    Destroy every enemy stack. Each stack is a group of the same creature; losses kill whole creatures.

    Controls

    Tap a green hex to move. Tap an enemy to see the damage, then tap it again (or a gold side of it) to attack. Wait and Defend are below the board.

    Rules

    Tip: Shooters love cover: forests favour the Kingdom, open meadows the fast Wild packs. Attack wounded stacks first and let a stack Wait to strike after the enemy has used its retaliation.
